TOPIC is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop and maintain test frameworks and automation for embedded systems. You will write production-quality code in Python and/or C++, work with software engineers on CI/CD pipelines, and ensure testability and reliability by design.

The role requires 5 years in high-tech, experience with Python, C++, and possibly C#, plus OO principles.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar.
• 5 years of work experience in the high-tech domain.
• Experience with Python, C++ and/or C# and OO principles.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks and automation tooling using C++ and/or Python.
• Contribute to production code and testability improvements in collaboration with software engineers.
• Develop automated tests across unit, integration, and system levels as part of the development process.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure for fast, reliable feedback.
• Analyze complex systems and trace issues to root cause in code.
• Drive testability, observability, and quality-by-design principles within teams.
• Work on embedded/hardware-software integration and distributed systems with real-world impact.
