TOPIC in the Netherlands is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and build test infrastructure, automation, and production-grade automation tooling in C++ and Python. You will work with embedded systems, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and drive testability and quality-by-design in collaboration with software engineers.

The role requires 5+ years in high-tech, experience with Python/C++/C#, and familiarity with Robot Framework.

Formación

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar.
5+ years in the high-tech domain.
Experience with Python, C++ and/or C# and OO design.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks and automation tooling in C++ and/or Python.
Contribute to production code and testability improvements with software engineers.
Develop automated tests across unit, integration, and system levels.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure for fast, reliable feedback.
Analyze complex systems and trace root causes in code.
Drive testability, observability, and quality-by-design within development teams.
Work on embedded/hardware-software and distributed systems with real-world impact.
