Geotab in Madrid is seeking an Embedded Developer to design, write, and test C, C++, and Rust code for Geotab’s GO telematics devices. You will contribute to firmware development and testing across multiple modules, ensuring new releases perform as expected.

You will work with a team of embedded engineers, perform unit tests, code reviews, and troubleshoot on embedded targets while adhering to development standards.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems design with RTOS and Linux.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (C/C++/C#) in embedded software context; familiar with data structures and design patterns.
• Experience on embedded targets, reading schematics and component data sheets; willingness to troubleshoot and iterate.

Responsabilidades

• Develop firmware in areas such as modem, GPS, vehicle data, and security using C, C++ and Rust.
• Write unit tests and perform integration and system testing in real and simulated environments.
• Conduct code reviews and identify areas for code improvements; maintain Documentation.
