Job summary

Qorvo in Barcelona is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to develop robust automotive software for UWB/RTLS and RF connectivity. You will own firmware life cycle from design to integration tests, closely collaborating with global teams, implementing secure-by-design principles and audit readiness.

The role requires deep C programming expertise, MISRA C compliance, and hands-on experience with ECU software development, tools, and debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Embedded Systems.
• 8+ years automotive embedded software in ANSI C.
• Experience in microcontroller based system development.
• Strong experience in C toolchain usage: compiler / linker.
• Experience in unit and integration testing (CPPUTEST / TESSY / GOOGLE TEST).
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC and hands on C programming with modern agile tool sets.
• Experience with UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Experience with MISRA C and automotive static analysis.
• Good knowledge of peripherals: ADC, GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, PWM, Modbus.
• Familiar with debugging tools: Oscilloscopes, JTAG, Logic Analyzers.
• Git version control experience.
• Vector tools: Canoe / Canalyzer.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering deliverables.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders and self-motivation.
