Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Functional Software Analyst to design software architecture for power electronics products and translate high-level requirements into detailed specs for the development team.

You will study control models from the systems dept and define how they should be implemented in software, collaborating with Product Engineering, System Engineering, and Field Application Engineers.

Qualifications

• Background in power electronics, FW and SW development.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Experience with high-level requirements analysis and SW architectures.

Responsibilities

• Use official SW code development, version control, and documentation tools.
• Manage SW specifications backlog and define detailed software specs.
• Perform high level requirements analysis and product owner activities.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and System Engineering departments.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Train, supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support other departments and analyze/test at customer facilities when required.
