Nextpower in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Functional Software Analyst to translate high-level requirements into detailed software specs for power electronics products. You will study control models and define implementation approaches with the development team, aligning software behavior with system architecture.

The role emphasizes backlogging, product owner collaboration, and high-level requirements analysis, with travel as required and fluency in Spanish and English expected.

Formación

• Requires Sciences degree or Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience as Functional Software Analyst.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Some travel required.
• FW development experience.
• Embedded Linux development experience.
• Knowledge in Solar inverters, Storage, DSP, Neural networks, ML.

Responsabilidades

• Use official SW code development, version control, and code documentation tools.
• Manage the SW specifications backlog.
• Product owner role.
• Collaborate with the Product Engineering Department.
• Collaborate with the System Engineering Department.
• Collaborate with Field Application Engineers and Technical Service.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Support other departments.
• Analysis and testing at customer facilities when needed.
• Training and mentoring of less experienced members.
