Join One Mission Society for a summer internship at the Peña de Horeb camp in Spain. This volunteer role focuses on serving and supporting summer staff while gaining valuable experience in missions and ministry. You will build relationships, receive mentorship, and grow spiritually while participating in various camp activities.

The One Mission Society Europe and Middle East region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities. You'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences. You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for this experience is that by the time you return home, you will feel more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, expand your skill set, grow in your relationship with God, and discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.

Spend your summer serving at the beautiful Peña de Horeb camp in the heart of Spain. Support summer staff and teams through meal preparation and service, assisting with clean up, and completing other projects at the camp such as landscaping, routine maintenance, special projects, and other duties as assigned. You will also have the opportunity to host volunteer teams and plan children’s sports camps.

Responsibilities

• Observe and experience missions in Spain through the services provided to churches and groups by the camp.
• See the mission's team in action, participate in various meetings, and ultimately see what it's like to serve in this kind of ministry.
• Receive coaching, some lessons about your 'why' and job fit, and be part of a plan to help you grow spiritually through discipleship.

Other Information

• You will be serving from mid-May to mid-August. (Internship is up to 90 days total with flexible arrival).
• You will live in the province of Guadalajara on the Peña de Horeb camp.
• Cost will be $5,300 (including travel expenses).
• This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.
• Scholarships are available for 2025! Please inquire to see if you are eligible.

During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with volunteers and teams, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship, and communicating your testimony.
