What does the Email Marketing Specialist role look like?

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing European marketing team. In this role, you will support the execution and optimization of multi-country marketing automation campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You will collaborate with local and regional marketing teams to bring campaigns to life through automation, personalization, and data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities:

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Campaign Development & Execution

• Build and execute automated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and other channels using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Collaborate with country marketing teams to adapt and localize customer journeys for each market.
• Create and maintain responsive email templates and landing pages using SFMC tools (Content Builder, Cloud Pages).

Journey Management

• Design and implement customer journeys in Journey Builder, incorporating personalization, segmentation, and decision splits.
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies in real-time as needed.

Data & Audience Management

• Manage data extensions, subscriber lists, and segmentation strategies.
• Ensure GDPR and local data privacy compliance in all marketing automation activities.

Reporting & Optimization

• Analyze campaign results and generate insights for continuous improvement.
• Present performance reports to stakeholders and recommend optimization strategies.

Collaboration & Support

• Provide guidance and training to local teams on best practices and platform capabilities.
• Coordinate with IT and CRM teams to ensure smooth data flows and integrations.

Authorities:

• Support Loomis EUL and its subsidiaries in marketing activities.

Experience and competencies required:

Mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Marketing Automation Systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
• Strong understanding of marketing automation, personalization, segmentation, and analytics.
• English proficiency at C1 or C2 level.

Desired:

• Experience working in a multi-country or regional environment.
• Knowledge of GDPR and marketing compliance in Europe.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Consultant, or Developer) are a plus.
