The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for nurturing unqualified leads to qualification for sales and elevating key buying signal insights to sales. With the ever-increasing load of incoming leads from all over the world, you must be on the constant lookout for ways to improve and automate the lead qualification process. In this role, you are the first line of communication between potential new customers and the sales organization, so the image of our company depends on great communication from the first interaction to the hand-over to the sales team. The person in this role will own email marketing and be responsible for developing and optimizing an effective nurturing program, while stewarding the handoff to sales to ensure proper coverage and handling of leads.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all incoming leads to ensure that they are sufficiently qualified before handing over to the sales team.
  2. Communicate with leads that are insufficiently qualified to quickly collect sufficient information to decide on whether to handover to the sales team or perform other actions. There are many new leads per day, so this is a time-consuming task. Focus should be on automation while still providing the best possible experience for potential customers.
  3. Create and execute effective nurturing plans that move unqualified leads to qualification.
  4. Conduct research on leads (particularly for high value accounts) and uncover potentially higher value contacts in the organization to supply sales with targets and buying insights.
  5. Make note of trends in inbound leads such as multiple touch points from a contact or company and collaborate with sales and marketing on insights.
  6. Establish repeatable processes, outreach templates and sequences, and parameters for escalating leads and insights to sales to enable training and onboarding of lead qualification team members and lead qualification program effectiveness and scalability.
  7. Implement tools and processes to automate the lead qualification as much as possible (includes study of best-practices and benchmark of relevant tools).
  8. Collaborate with digital marketing to create codify lead qualification activities and reporting within existing systems (CRM, contact management, etc.).
  9. Provide insight to marketing via observations from outreach to help improve messaging and promotional tactics.
  10. Create automated and regular reports with stats related to the lead qualification, in order to monitor and improve performance and adjust the lead qualification process.
  11. Work with the rest of the marketing team to assist in defining and implementing lead generation campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. 3-5 Years of experience in sales and/or email marketing, ideally B2B.
  2. At least 2 years of experience nurturing and qualifying inbound, unqualified leads.
  3. Great verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
  5. Good understanding of technical products and solutions.
  6. Experience managing contacts in CRMs and Contact Management Systems.
  7. Experience creating effective email and cold-calling campaigns.
