Formación

• At least two years of experience in electronic design.
• Proficiency with EDA software such as Altium Designer.
• Experience with basic and advanced test equipment.

Join our team and build the future of space technology.

We are expanding at Alén Space and seeking a passionate, talented, and experienced space system engineer to lead our Mission Control Center team and contribute to space technology innovation.

You will be part of the Electronic Development Area, responsible for designing electronic devices and products for space and ground segments, as well as support tools (GSE). Your main responsibility will be the design and verification of new electronic products, primarily based on embedded systems.

What you will be doing

• Design electronic devices using microcontrollers, FPGAs, and radio transceivers.
• Select components and assist in procurement.
• Create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
• Develop and execute verification plans.
• Test prototypes and facilitate formal product acceptance.
• Evaluate and implement modifications to existing products.
• Provide technical support to sales and customer teams, including meetings.
• Participate in technical meetings and report progress to the project manager.

What we need in our team

• Fluency in English.
• At least two years of experience in electronic design.
• Knowledge of digital, analog, and power electronics design.
• Proficiency with EDA software such as Altium Designer.
• Experience with basic (multimeter, oscilloscope) and advanced (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer) test equipment.

Valuable additional knowledge

• Design of high-density PCBs (>4 layers).
• Experience with high-speed signal integrity.
• Design for EMC compliance.
• Knowledge of test development tools: embedded C, C++, Python, Bash, Git.
• Understanding of ECSS standards.
