Your Role

We are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join our team and take a science-based approach to the development of our electronic systems. You’ll be at the forefront of hardware design, embedded systems integration, and circuit development to ensure our robots are intelligent, efficient, and reliable. As an Electronics Engineer at THEKER

you will be responsible for designing and developing the electronic hardware that powers our robotic platforms. Your role will involve embedded systems integration, circuit design, and ensuring our products are robust and innovative.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Take a science-based approach to the development of new electronic products.
2. Design and develop PCBs for robotic systems, including schematic capture and layout.
3. Select electronic components that meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
4. Develop and integrate embedded systems, including programming microcontrollers in C / C++.
5. Work with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB for sensor, actuator, and microcontroller communication.
6. Perform testing and debugging of electronic circuits and firmware.
7. Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams for seamless product integration.
8. Continuously research new electronic embedded technologies to bring innovative solutions.

What we're looking for

Must-Have Requirements :

• At least 2 years of experience with electronics gained through professional work, personal projects, or university competitions/research teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in debugging.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and programming platforms like ESP32, STM32, or similar.
• Hard-working attitude and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Innovative thinker passionate about robotics.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Barcelona.

Experience with signal conditioning, sensor integration, real-time low-level programming, and knowledge of robotic systems and their electronic integration are highly desirable.
