You will be involved in the development and coordination of electrical engineering, within the EPC bidding department, associated with the design of solar photovoltaic and BESS plants for projects under development and in EPC bidding phase to third parties.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of photovoltaic solar plants and BESS (layout, calculations and electrical measurements).
• Design of Transformer Substations and Inverters (DC/AC): Equipment, control and protections.
• Drafting of technical projects and design reports.
• Technical-economic evaluation of bids for electrical components in solar and BESS plants.
• Drafting of technical specifications for the request for tenders and/or contracting of the installation of electrical works for photovoltaic plants (talking to contractors to ask them for a price for these electrical works).
• Collaborate in the fulfilment of the quality, health, safety and environmental objectives and targets set by the general management.
• Know and comply with the company's rules, manuals and procedures that affect their work.

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering - Speciality Electricity / Degree in Industrial Engineering - Speciality Electricity / Renewable Energies.
• Demonstrable experience in participation in interconnection processes of renewable energy plants in Spain, Chile, Peru or other countries.
• Language: HIGH English - B2.
• Computer skills:
  • Obligatory: Office package (Excel, Word, Project...).
  • Valuable: Knowledge of specialised software in MV and HV electrical design, such as PLS-CADD for HV line design.
  • Valuable: Knowledge of simulation and modelling software for electrical power systems, etc.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- One year experience in engineering companies developing similar functions in the area of renewable energies (photovoltaic plants, solar thermal, biomass, combined cycles, electrical installation, etc.).
- One year experience in low and medium voltage projects (transformer stations, substations, distribution networks).
