A leading renewable energy organization in Madrid is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Substations Project Director. You will be responsible for the successful execution of substation projects with voltages of 220KV or higher, managing resources and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering and has at least 7 years of relevant project management experience. Proficiency in B2-C1 English is required, and the role demands flexibility for international travel.

As a High Voltage Electrical Substations Project Director, you will assume comprehensive responsibility for the direction, planning, execution, control, and closure of electrical substation projects with a voltage equal to or greater than 220KV. This involves coordinating all project life cycle phases from bidding to construction, commissioning, and formal project handover.

Key responsibilities include managing human resources, exercising effective leadership over a multidisciplinary team, actively participating in bidding and contracting processes, developing and managing project budgets, creating detailed project schedules, ensuring quality standards compliance, implementing health and safety plans, and promoting sustainability throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements for this position include an academic background in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing electrical substation projects of 220KV or higher voltages, international experience is desirable, knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards, proficiency in project management methodologies, and excellent leadership skills, communication, and conflict resolution under pressure.

Languages : B2-C1 English is essential, and candidates must be available to travel abroad based on project demands.
