We are interested in individuals with advanced knowledge, high technical capacity, and interpersonal skills to work on highly complex electrical projects in industrial, steel, and mining environments.

Job Title : Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Contract Duration : 12 Months + extensions

Location : Madrid, Spain (4 days in the office)

Rate : Depends on Level of experience

Basic Requirements :

• Master's degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of tools such as ETAP and DigSilent PowerFactory.
• Competence in performing short-circuit calculations, load flow, harmonics.
• Competence in the sizing of transformers, EDG, UPS system, and DC system.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and NEMA.
• Experience in the preparation of single-line diagrams, technical specifications, CAPEX analysis, cable calculations, tray design, lighting systems, grounding, lightning protection.
• Ability to coordinate and resolve technical queries with manufacturers and contractors.
• Competence in performing technical-economic reviews of offers and evaluating FAT, SAT, and manufacturing stages.
• Familiarity with systems such as PMCS based on IEC 61850.
• Knowledge in conducting power quality studies and power factor correction.
• Documentation skills : Ability to generate electrical material lists, equipment data sheets, and detailed technical specifications.
• Experience in projects in FEL-1, FEL-2, FEED, EPCM, Detailed Engineering formats.
• Leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
• Efficient time and resource management.
• Advanced level of English.
