Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector
Job responsibilities include:
- Inspection of Electrical & Instrumentation installations per ITP/ITR requirements.
- Review contractor ITPs, procedures, documents.
- Sign off on the ITRs , working on the AP Completions software.
- Compile, manage and sign off the test packs.
- Assist Site Quality with relevant reporting to Project/Management.
- Participate in site meetings (internal and contractor).
- At all times, adhere to AP EH&S requirements & any site policy and restrictions
- Manage and issue Punch-lists, Non-conformances and drive corrective actions
- Foresee impediments, bring to the notice of site management and proactively suggest solutions
- Create daily/weekly site reports
- Accompany walk down of site systems
- Managing punch-list & NCR resolution with site contractors
- Assisting commissioning teams wherever required for closure of punch-points
- Witness Site Acceptance Test
Other Salient Requirements:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality issues.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, site maps, blueprints
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites.

- Ability to refer, interpret and advise implementation of E&I equipment supplier's instructions Manuals
Education / Trainings:
- Primary education with a degree in Electrical or instrumentation background.
- Trained & Certified to the relevant level of ATEX
Experience:
- Significant Experience working in the oil and gas related industry on Onshore Plants.
- Proven work experience as a Quality Control Inspector at sites.
