A leading testing and certification company is seeking an E&I Inspector for a long-term project in Tarragona, Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/instrument inspection with good knowledge of relevant documents and quality processes. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and starting in April/May 2025.

Formación

• Previous experience in the role and in relevant O&G projects.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
• Available to start in April/May 2025.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and verify field electrical/instrument installations on projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams performing Mechanical Completion activities.
• Review necessary certifications and documentation.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of Wiring, P&ID, Instrument List

Understanding of quality processes

Experience in field electrical/instrument inspection

Knowledge of standards NFPE70 / NEC

Understanding of hazardous area requirements

Experience as a Resident Final Customer E&I Inspector

Certificate review experience

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for an E&I Inspector for a long-term project based at a supplier in Tarragona area.

Hard skills :

• Good knowledge of documents such as Wiring, P&ID, Instrument List, Data Sheet, and Electrical Specification.
• Understanding of quality processes including inspection notification, punch list management, and ITP / QCP.
• Experience in field electrical / instrument installation inspection (preferably on module construction projects).
• Knowledge of applicable standards NFPE70 / NEC.
• Understanding of hazardous area requirements.
• Experience as a Resident Final Customer E&I Inspector (preferably resident experience over on-call inspections).
• Positive teamwork approach: the inspector will be part of a multidisciplinary team performing Mechanical Completion activities and sharing or escalating potential issues or quality concerns to the inspector lead.
• Experience in certificate review (OEM certification, ITRs, etc.).
