Job Description:

A new vacancy for an ELECTRIC AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SPECIALIST FOR EUROFIGHTER SAF CGEA - NSO/CAMO has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Spain.

You will join the team working at the Spanish Air Force Headquarters (Madrid/Moncloa) as a specialist for Electric and Hydraulic systems of the Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon fleet. Main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Support to MOBs regarding Technical Queries resolution.
• International Technical Instructions management (STOs, TWs, OOCRs).
• National Technical Orders generation (OTCPs, SOs, QAs, DIs…).
• Active monitoring of recurrent problems affecting the fleet.
• Analyse and monitoring of relevant problems affecting other fleets.
• Attendance to fleet operation improvement meetings.
• Support any related activity concerning the system (e.g. STANAG study and technical assessment).

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Engineering degree
• +5 years of experience in Engineering, in particular Aeronautical Engineering
• Proven knowledge and experience in aeronautical structures, within the Eurofighter environment
• Technical knowledge of Aircraft General Systems
• Customer service oriented profile, with advanced communication skills and assertiveness
• Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally
• Advanced level of English
