Environmental and safety issues are fundamental to the sustainable growth of our service business. This role is responsible for embedding environmental and health & safety (EHS) principles into our service portfolio, operations, and supplier network, making sustainability a tangible value for our customers. The EHS Manager will also ensure that "Safety First" is more than a slogan-it's a core operational principle that protects all employees and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement internal EHS guidelines and processes across the service organization.
- Plan and execute EHS programs and projects, ensuring timely achievement of milestones.
- Monitor compliance with EHS standards and prepare regular internal reports.
- Analyze changes in EHS laws and regulations, recommending updates to internal policies as needed.
- Support internal and external EHS audits in collaboration with the responsible EHS officer.
- Prepare and submit EHS reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain active communication with external regulatory bodies.
- Deliver EHS training to employees and management to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with regional service and occupational safety managers to ensure alignment and effective implementation of EHS initiatives.
- Stay current with regional and local EHS regulations and standards.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in EHS management, preferably within a service-oriented or industrial environment with a minimum of 5 years in a senior technician role.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Intermediate proficiency in English, particularly in reading and writing; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
