We are currently recruiting an EHS Manager to work on a data centre project based in Madrid.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  1. Conduct regular formal site audits and inspections as directed by the Safety Management System.
  2. Communicate audit findings to site management and the Operations Director, assisting in issue resolution per Dornan policy.
  3. Assess and improve the EHS function, develop new initiatives, and manage current programs within Ireland.
  4. Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Visit new projects to ensure safety systems are established on site.
  6. Provide training and information to the workforce, promoting safety awareness and accident prevention initiatives.
  7. Maintain thorough knowledge of European Environmental Health & Safety legislation.
  8. Manage, mentor, and promote the professional development of a team of EHS professionals.
  9. Engage with project and operations directors to improve EHS performance.
  10. Support pre-qualification and tendering processes with collated advice.
  11. Represent the company professionally with clients, subcontractors, and third parties.
What we are looking for:
  • Thorough understanding of ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred).
