At K2 Partnering Solutions, we are looking for an experienced AWS Data Project Manager and Architect to lead and manage data projects for our client. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in AWS cloud services, data architecture, and project management who are looking for an opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage complex data projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and align solutions with business objectives.
• Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and quality assurance in line with industry standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and project plans.

Requirements :

• 7+ years of experience in AWS data engineering, architecture, or project management.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and AWS services like Glue, S3, Redshift, and EMR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (C1 or native) and English (B2 or higher).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks and cloud-based AI solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI / CD tools.
• Industry experience in Energy, Oil, or Life Sciences.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
