Full Stack Software Engineer - IC3

Location : Spain (remote)

Oracle is on a mission to streamline the clinical trial study startup process. Oracle HDI offers an advanced cloud solution for clinical trial planning, data collection, trial execution, and safety management. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive end-to-end cloud platform to unify actions and accelerate results in the Life Sciences industry.

The CTPO Study Startup unit leads in cloud-based study startup software for the global Life Sciences industry, providing a complete platform from site identification to activation, with metrics to track timelines and budgets.

The Full Stack Software Engineer will develop SaaS platforms and applications within Oracle's HDI Clinical Trials Production Operations group. This role involves independent, senior-level work to build our technology platform using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and SPA frameworks like Preact and OJet.

You will collaborate with a passionate engineering team to build the first study startup platform of its kind for pharmaceutical clients. This is an individual contributor role without direct reports.

What you'll do...

• Advance SaaS product development with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and OJet.
• Develop full-stack enterprise applications to streamline workflows in the industry.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and QA specialists.
• Participate as a member of the agile development team.

Skills you have…

• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Experience with dynamic language web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, or Grails.
• Experience with backend server applications using Node.js.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Proven experience with unit testing and test frameworks.
• Experience with Git or similar SCM tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Additional expertise in service-oriented architectures, cloud deployments, reporting, and analytics is a plus.
