Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and reliable Senior Golang Engineer who is interested in providing innovative software solutions for our clients. Be a part of our team as we continue to deliver high-quality products and services. The Senior Go Engineer will be responsible for building backend services in Go on EKS, as well as some Lambdas. The overall project focuses on providing product data and managing the product lifecycle. If you are an open communicator with a passion for learning, love to think outside the box, and are excited about software development, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities

1. Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Go and related technologies.
2. Make technically sound decisions and uphold high standards of coding and architecture best practices.
3. Create and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and design documents.
4. Enhance team performance through mentoring, code reviews, and process improvements within the SDLC.
5. Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
6. Collaborate within a cross-functional team to transform requirements into actionable tasks.
7. Communicate progress and status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

1. At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
2. Proficiency in Go (Golang), including syntax, semantics, database connectivity, and object-oriented concepts.
3. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
4. Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego, etc.
5. Solid understanding of web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, GQL, etc.).
6. Experience with relational databases.
7. Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
8. Proven track record of delivering high-quality, tested software on time.
9. Open-mindedness and patience to explain technical issues constructively.
10. Strong communication skills, with at least intermediate English proficiency.
11. Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

1. Kubernetes or EKS experience.
2. Experience with Shopify.
3. Knowledge of DynamoDB.
