The role :

We are looking for a Senior Flutter Developer for our offices in VASS SPAIN, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people. We seek a Senior Flutter Developer with proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications (iOS and Android) using Flutter. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled professional with a strong focus on software quality, performance, scalability, and clean architecture. UX / UI design will be handled by a separate team, so this role will focus exclusively on technical implementation and development.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable, maintainable mobile applications using Flutter.
2. Apply clean architecture principles and robust design patterns (Clean Architecture, MVVM, BLoC).
3. Consume web services (REST, GraphQL) and integrate with backend systems.
4. Optimize app performance and ensure a smooth user experience.
5. Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests.
6. Participate in technical planning, effort estimation, code reviews, and retrospectives.
7. Collaborate with the UX / UI team, who will deliver ready-to-implement designs.

Technical Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart.
2. Hands-on experience with advanced State Management (BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, etc.).
3. Solid understanding of REST API consumption and authentication mechanisms.
4. Experience publishing apps to Google Play and the App Store.
5. Proficient in setting up and maintaining CI / CD pipelines (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions).
6. Strong Git skills and practical experience using the GitFlow branching strategy.

Nice to Have

1. Familiarity with Firebase services (Firestore, Auth, Push Notifications, Crashlytics).
2. Experience using GraphQL.
3. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks: flutter_test, mockito, integration_test, patrol test.
4. Experience developing custom plugins or integrating native code (Swift / Kotlin).
5. Understanding of mobile security best practices: OWASP, Secure storage, biometrics, encryption.
