Your mission as Cyber Security Supplier Risk Specialist is to protect Vodafone infrastructure, information, and customers. You will be part of the Governance, Risk, and Control team, working within a global multinational team of Cyber Security experts passionate about building a secure connected future for customers and society.
As a Cyber member team, in the role of Supplier Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for managing cyber security risks throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of Vodafone suppliers, from contracts and onboarding to end of life. Your main tasks will include :
- Owning relationships with key suppliers to implement, monitor, and track controls to minimize Vodafone risk, including conducting on-site audits and following up on action plans for high-risk suppliers.
- Liaising with suppliers to gather relevant information and assess the level of cyber security risk.
- Supporting Vodafone Business Owners in understanding the supplier security process, policies, and outputs.
- Tracking and reporting on supplier security operational activities.
- Reviewing and validating security clauses in supplier contracts.
- Collaborating with Cyber Security, Supply Chain Management, Privacy, and Corporate Security teams to support overall supplier management and governance.
- Identifying areas for continuous improvement in Vodafone tools and processes, both within the Global Supplier Security team and with local stakeholders.
- Managing projects to improve outcomes for Vodafone, suppliers, and customers.
- Leading the migration of supplier management processes and tools to local systems, including defining, designing, and executing related tasks.
What do we need?
- Over 4 years of experience in Cyber Security-related positions.
- Knowledge of third-party information security risk management and general information security standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX, ENS) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and threats.
- A passion for Cyber Security with an interest in IT and Networks.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, goal-oriented.
- Problem-solving ability under tight deadlines, with a focus on simplification, innovation, and value.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive collaboration inside and outside Vodafone.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including reporting and presenting.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
