About the profile

The DevOps and Software Engineer will serve as a key technical leader, bridging development and operations teams. This role involves establishing and enforcing good programming principles, promoting clean code practices, and setting up scalable, reliable systems. The candidate will mentor teams, drive industry standards adoption, and ensure alignment with SOLID principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• DevOps Leadership : Design, build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines; oversee DevOps practices; lead infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Software Development Leadership : Guide scalable, secure software design; promote clean code; enforce SOLID principles; lead debugging and troubleshooting.
• Mentorship and Collaboration : Mentor team members; foster continuous improvement; collaborate across teams; develop technical documentation.

Requirements - Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Python, .NET, and C#.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with configuration management tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code practices, and SOLID principles.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive learning approach.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements - Nice to have

• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in the Life Science industry.
