Senior or Principal Biostatistician – Leading CRO – Homebased – Spain

We have recently partnered with an award-winning CRO, seeking an experienced Principal Biostatistician (or Senior aiming to advance to Principal) to join their successful study delivery team. Candidates with any area of specialization are considered.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, monitoring, organizing, and reviewing activities of biostatisticians and programmers working on assigned studies.
2. Ensuring the timely, budget-compliant delivery of studies and analyses to quality standards.
3. Providing strategic oversight, focusing on resource allocation and team performance.
4. Reviewing project database structures, edit checks, and data management coding conventions.
5. Preparing statistical analysis plans (SAP), defining derived data, and designing statistical tables, figures, and data listings for reports.
6. Conducting statistical analyses, interpreting data, and reporting results.
7. Writing and reviewing statistical methods sections of study reports.
8. Preparing biostatistics input for research proposals, defending proposals, and presenting at marketing meetings with clients.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Strong experience in biostatistics, particularly in clinical trials and analysis.
• Deep knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory standards, and statistical software (e.g., SAS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
