GRAITEC GmbH is seeking a Sales Representative for their new software solution, IDEATE. This role involves expanding the software business by managing relationships with AEC companies and requires fluency in Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record in software, particularly in BIM processes, and will work closely with Account Managers and technical staff.

Overview

  • This exciting opportunity involves selling a new software solution, IDEATE, acquired by Graitec, designed to improve productivity for architects and engineers.
  • The successful candidate will report to the Graitec Software Sales Director and work closely with Account Managers, the solution sales team, and technical staff, both in person and remotely.
  • The primary goal is to expand the Ideate Software business by cultivating, selling, and managing relationships with strategic AEC companies, including prospects and existing customers.
  • This is a full-time position based in Barcelona or remote, with travel requirements to customer sites, marketing events, and Hannover for team meetings.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as our teams collaborate globally to serve our clients effectively.
  • The role involves working with Account Managers to define target markets, develop account plans, and execute strategies.

Responsibilities

We seek a candidate with a proven sales record, independence, diligence, and creativity. Experience in software sales, particularly third-party solutions, is highly desirable. The role involves significant prospecting, client interaction, and understanding of Autodesk Revit and BIM processes. Ability to work comfortably in a virtual team environment is required.

Sales and Presentation Skills:

  • Effective sales techniques with strong business and financial understanding.
  • Responsible for developing sales plans and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, with diligent CRM documentation.
  • Proficiency in online sales presentations and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships within target organizations, understanding client needs, workflows, and decision processes.
  • Fluency in German/Spanish and English is required.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with Account Managers.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Revit or similar BIM software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Active user of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Account and strategic account management – approximately 10% of time.
  • Reporting and documentation – approximately 5% of time.
  • Overall focus on new business acquisition and development, with quota-driven direct sales.

  • Initial discussion with John, Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Interview with a sales manager or director.
  • Meeting with Alex, Vice President of Sales.
  • Final interview.
