Eurofins CDMO is a leading international Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Europe, specializing in drug product development and manufacturing for chemical/biological entities, supporting small and major biopharmaceutical companies to achieve their clinical milestones. Our facilities in France, Belgium, and Italy are designed for clinical and small-scale commercial batches of both non-sterile and sterile dosage forms.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager for Non-Sterile Drug Product Development and Manufacturing to support our growth in formulation, analytical development, and manufacturing of clinical and small-scale commercial batches. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will collaborate with Technical Business Managers and Business Unit Managers to meet your objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Expanding the client portfolio through proactive prospecting across Europe.
2. Focusing on development projects from early phases up to clinical development (Phase 1 to 2B) for chemical and biological compounds.
3. Representing the CDMO division at conferences, workshops, and tradeshows.
4. Benchmarking our services against competitors and new market entrants.

This role primarily focuses on our Ghent site, with potential involvement in facilities in Bordeaux, Montpellier, or Idron. The position is fully remote, and candidates from other European countries with good flight connections (e.g., DACH, Nordics, South Europe) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a scientific degree (Engineer, MSc, PhD) with 5-10 years of relevant experience in selling comprehensive services, including formulation development, drug product development, packaging, analytical support, and manufacturing for small or large molecules. Essential qualities include:

• Strong communication skills
• Dynamic personality and good business acumen
• Knowledge of drug development and manufacturing for small molecules and biologics
• Autonomy with a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%
• Fluent English; additional languages such as French, Dutch/Flemish, or German are a plus
