Job Description

The Systems Architect will ensure the safe and effective operation of our SAP system, managing and monitoring changes, incidents, and compliance with relevant policies.

Your Role

Supports the technical implementation of the SAP system landscape as it evolves (development, test, quality, and production environments) with in-depth knowledge of SAP technical areas.

Designs, implements, monitors, and optimizes SAP landscapes and dependent technologies. Monitors and tunes system performance and workload. Manages and performs system refreshes; coordinates scheduling of refreshes as requested.

Identifies needed system corrections/enhancements and recommends changes. Applies advanced system management principles, concepts, and techniques.

Evaluates and recommends new hardware, software tools, and utilities within the SAP environment. Understands the company's current and future requirements and develops relevant solutions. Ensures solutions are implemented correctly and on time.

Provides subject matter expertise in technical and process discussions.

Your Profile

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on implementation and support experience with latest releases of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA, and BI Solution Manager, GTS, GRC, MII, BO, etc.
• Strong knowledge of multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies (global focus desired).
• Experience in SAP BTP and SaaS offerings from SAP (Ariba, IBP, BAS, IrPA, Analytics Cloud, etc.).
• SAP NetWeaver administration and technical core tasks including software installation, upgrades, support packages, patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components, workload analysis, etc.
• HANA Administration and Business Suite on HANA administration is a plus.
• Must have Production Support Experience.
• Must have implemented and supported SAP S/4HANA with any Enhancement Package level.
• Experience with Fiori and frontend server.
• Exposure to supporting large SAP database implementations.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, High Availability, and Archiving Solutions.

Soft Skills

• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proactive issue management and resolution in cooperation with in-house teams and third-party partners.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• BSc or BA degree in a relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience.
