Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team. You will be the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, working alongside the CEO, Product Managers, and other designers to create UX/UI design processes from low-fidelity mockups to final designs. If you are knowledgeable and passionate about crypto and blockchain technologies, are hungry for a challenge, and are looking to work in a fast-paced startup environment, then this role is for you!

What You'll Be Doing

1. You will learn Venga's existing UX/UI and design system to a level of ownership equal to Venga's Product Managers.
2. You will maintain and perfect Venga's design system, ensuring all projects are well set up across all our environments.
3. Working closely with Product Managers, you will create low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and final UX/UI designs for our mobile app and web.
4. You will assist Venga's front-end and mobile teams to help answer any questions on design rules they may have.
5. You will be the main point of contact for Venga's Product Managers and Business Analysts and will assist the team with fixing design errors, bugs, and corrections and creating new designs if and when necessary.
6. You will also set up a framework for conducting continuous UX/UI testing to identify and resolve UX/UI-related issues.
7. You will ensure that Venga's design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within all design work.
8. You will continuously research new UX/UI ideas and propose them to the Venga team when designing.
9. Aside from UX/UI, you will work with Venga's marketing team and will assist in creating impactful assets for Venga's digital marketing and communication.

Who You Are & What You'll Need

1. You have 3+ years of experience as an app, mobile, and web UX/UI Designer.
2. You have a successful track record and a strong portfolio demonstrating your UX/UI designs focusing on mobile applications.
3. Native or Advanced level of English and Spanish.
4. Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, graphic design, UX/UI design, industrial and product design, or any other relevant field.
5. Professional certifications in UX/UI Design are a big plus!
6. Prior professional experience in a startup environment working on UX/UI design in crypto and Web3 is a huge plus.
7. We work in Figma, so a deep understanding of Figma is required.
8. You have an in-depth understanding of how design systems are set up and their best practices for desktop, iOS, Android, and Web.
9. Excellent planning and project management skills, preferably with experience in agile methodologies and the scrum framework.
10. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and are ready to get involved in multiple processes simultaneously.
11. You are exceptionally well organized and can stay calm when working to tight deadlines.
12. You can break complex problems into viable and actionable chunks and solve each problem accurately and effectively.
