About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our fast-paced, performance marketing & e-commerce driven team. In this key role, you'll build advanced dashboards and data models that enable smarter decisions across multiple brands. Your responsibilities include developing complex DAX logic, optimizing performance, and creating scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions—while adapting quickly to changing business priorities.

What You'll Do :

1. Advanced DAX Development: Create complex DAX calculations with time intelligence, statistical functions, virtual tables, measure branching, and performance optimization.
2. Data Model Architecture: Design scalable star schema models with relationships, hierarchies, and metadata supporting enterprise reporting.
3. Dashboard Design & Development: Build interactive dashboards with dynamic measures, custom visuals, and intuitive navigation.
4. Advanced Power BI Techniques: Implement calculation groups, dynamic measure switching, field parameters, and other advanced features.
5. Performance Engineering: Use DAX Studio to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize query plans.
6. UI / UX Excellence: Develop dynamic visuals, measure selectors, slicers, and modular dashboards for user-friendly interfaces.
7. Data Storytelling: Use bookmarks, drillthroughs, and interactive elements to create compelling data narratives.
8. Data Integration & SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction from Snowflake, BigQuery, MySQL, etc., to feed Power BI models.
9. ALM Toolkit & XMLA Endpoint: Manage semantic model changes and administration for enterprise deployments.
10. Enterprise BI Architecture: Design and implement scalable BI solutions with proper governance and security.
11. Technical Leadership: Guide best practices, provide team training, and establish reporting standards.

Skills & Experience Required :

• Expertise with Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Advanced DAX skills including complex calculations and virtual relationships.
• Experience with XMLA endpoints, ALM Toolkit, and enterprise deployments.
• Background in e-commerce or marketing analytics.
• Proficiency with calculation groups, time intelligence, measure branching, and custom calendars.
• Experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and model optimization.
• Strong SQL skills for Snowflake, BigQuery, MySQL.
• Knowledge of data security, RLS, and governance.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with dataset refresh, incremental techniques, and performance tools.
• Ability to analyze usage metrics and support BI adoption.
• Excellent collaboration skills across teams.
• Experience in documentation and training for data literacy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
