MANUFACTURING ENGINEER LARGE RADIAL STRUCTURES (F / M / X)

Job Location : Zamudio, Bizkaia

Objective and Outcome

We are seeking professionals to join our team of manufacturing process engineers for aerospace components, focusing on the development and industrialization of large radial structures.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Define manufacturing processes for new components, including creating manufacturing routes, solid models, instructions, and work guides.
2. Identify and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize non-quality costs.
3. Support production and continuous process improvement initiatives.
4. Implement new technologies and planned enhancements to increase competitiveness.
5. Identify process control variables to ensure sustainability and quality of products.

Candidate Profile :

• Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or similar; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing processes, especially welded assemblies.
• Knowledge: Drawing interpretation, 3D modeling (preferably Siemens NX), statistical analysis, Spanish language (First Certificate or equivalent).
• Valued but not essential: Nickel or titanium machining, welding processes, dimensional verification, non-destructive testing, management software (Teamcenter, SAP).
• Personal Skills: Teamwork, coordination, communication, autonomy, proactivity, results-oriented, adaptability, motivation for continuous improvement, willingness to work in a dynamic, international environment.

Training Provided :

• Manufacturing processes of static aircraft engine components.
• Tools and software for product and process management.
• Process data analysis (SPC, etc.).
• Aircraft parts quality management.
• Ergonomics and safety.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Team and Environment :

Work at ITP Aero’s Zamudio headquarters with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals involved in long-term projects for civil and industrial aviation, including process engineers, CNC programmers, quality engineers, and project managers.
