About the Team

Akamai's Cloud Technology Group's Compute division, formerly Linode and now Akamai's Connected Cloud (ACC), consists of collaborative, inclusive, and creative teams. We develop applications and services to empower our customers, aiming to make cloud computing simple, scalable, affordable, and accessible. Our team designs, develops, tests, and maintains products on our IaaS platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop tests, support frameworks, and manage CI/CD pipelines for our products, focusing on building and managing scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Contribute to test automation, frameworks, and testing workflows integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Shape the roadmap and test strategies for enterprise Kubernetes features.
• Validate and improve cloud-native technologies, architectures, and test execution pipelines.
• Share knowledge, mentor team members, and adopt best practices within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable services using Kubernetes and cloud-native tech.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, or Ansible.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, and scripting in Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and Linux-based OS.

Compensation & Employment Details

The salary range is $106,600 - $221,400 annually, based on experience and location. The role is full-time, mid-senior level in engineering and IT industries. We offer competitive benefits, bonuses, and stock options.
