Amazon operates globally in e-commerce, influencing diverse businesses worldwide. The Ads Success Team (AST) assists in onboarding advertisers on Sponsored Ads (SA) and our Demand-Side Platform (DSP), managing accounts for search and display advertising. Our mission is to make advertisers successful on Amazon by inspiring, educating, and supporting them in using our ad products effectively.


To support Amazon Advertising's growth, we are building a team of highly motivated Account Performance Managers. This role offers opportunities for developing innovative ideas and solutions in a dynamic business environment. We seek an organized, proactive candidate who learns quickly, thinks critically, and is enthusiastic about working with a rapidly growing global brand.


As an Account Performance Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, employing analytical skills to formulate strategies, develop SOPs, communicate effectively, and make data-driven decisions.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Take full ownership of a portfolio of Standard and High-Value advertisers.
  2. Review each account thoroughly to understand current performance levels.
  3. Engage with advertisers and in-country Account Managers to understand advertising goals.
  4. Lead kick-off calls with advertisers, guiding discussions with a predefined agenda.
  5. Execute end-to-end ad optimization, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Analyze account performance, recommend, and implement optimization strategies to meet KPIs.
  7. Monitor and report on campaign progress, providing insights for future campaigns.
  8. Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to resolve performance issues.
  9. Develop documents on best practices, SOPs, and innovative frameworks.
  10. Identify opportunities for product improvement based on customer feedback and data analysis.
About the team

The Advertiser Success Team (AST) supports Amazon's global advertisers by providing strategic campaign management and education throughout their journey with Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Experience in a results-oriented environment with customer interaction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA in Digital Advertising or related Master's degree
  • Experience in online advertising, sales, marketing, or e-commerce
  • Success in business development, advertising, or account management
  • Data-driven mindset with analytical skills (Advanced Excel, basic SQL is a plus)
  • Google Ads / Bing Ads certification
  • Experience addressing client needs in a target-based environment
  • Ability to adapt to new trends and prioritize responsibilities
