We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist who can bridge the gap between technical product understanding and compelling go-to-market strategy.

Role Overview

In this hybrid role, you’ll wear two critical hats:

  1. Product Marketing – Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market efforts for SCANOSS solutions.
  2. Pre-Sales – Partner with sales to support technical demos, solutioning, and customer onboarding discussions.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing:
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Create and manage content for case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and sales tools.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate technical features into customer benefits.
Pre-Sales:
  • Partner with the sales team to deliver product demos and respond to technical inquiries.
  • Understand client use cases and provide tailored product insights to support sales cycles.
  • Act as a product expert in customer calls, webinars, and industry events.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, technical pre-sales, or solutions engineering, preferably in B2B software or cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of software development practices and open source ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messaging.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Native English / C2 level; other languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Open Source Compliance, or Application Security, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.
  • Previous customer-facing experience in sales engineering or technical consulting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, or code scanning tools.

Career Path & Onboarding

First 90 Days:

  • Month 1-2: Dive into SCANOSS products through hands-on training with our product and development teams. You'll learn how to position our tools, refine product messaging, and start developing foundational marketing and sales support materials.

Month 3+: Begin working closely with sales to support customer conversations and demo scenarios, while also collaborating with marketing to drive product awareness and content strategy.
