Responsibilities of this role include:

1. Read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation, technical specifications, and project management documentation to support business processes.
2. Collaborate with business analysts in the process of interpreting system requirements.
3. Document the types and structure of the business data.
4. Proactively manage end user expectations.
5. Create technical designs that will be used by developers to create ETL packages and reports.
6. Use data modeling tools to create logical and physical data models.
7. Perform mapping and tracing data from system to system to solve business or system problems.
8. Develop solutions using Microsoft technologies like SSIS, SSRS, and PowerBI.
9. Design, develop, maintain and upgrade operational and analytical reports.
10. Prepare and maintain written technical documentation detailing the contents and operation of each report.
11. Determine testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions, create test plans, and evaluate testing results taking corrective action as necessary.
12. Validate that all physical database designs satisfy business requirements, and meet established standards, data integrity, security, performance, and recoverability.
13. Present ideas and concepts in user-friendly terms.

Requirements:

1. Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2016.
2. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
3. Analytical, problem-solving, creative thinking and design skills.
4. Experience in programming complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Ability to perform detailed data analysis.
5. Proficiency with MS Excel is desired.
6. Telecom experience is HIGHLY preferred.
7. English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required.
