At CORUS, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team on an international insurance project.

Location:

Remote from Spain

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and validate data processes.
2. Develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
3. Support their implementation, ensuring data solutions align with business objectives, and explore future technology options for the business.
4. Serve as a technical expert in a specific process or product area, conduct process reviews, and initiate changes to contribute to continuous improvement of services to internal customers.
5. Research external primary data sources, select relevant information, evaluate key themes in technology, and make recommendations to inform policy and/or product development in your area of IT.
6. Coach and train junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in programming languages including R, Scala, Python, and SQL.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
• Effective communication skills, fluent in English.
