Job Overview : We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead utility-scale photovoltaic projects from inception (RtB) to completion (PAC). You’ll take full ownership of planning, execution, and project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Working with diverse, cross-functional teams, we'll rely on your strong communication & leadership skills to align stakeholders and coordinate efforts. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our projects as we scale our operations in Spain.

Your responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale PV projects, with a primary focus on solar, while also integrating battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and hybrid plant configurations in select projects to enhance grid stability and efficiency.
• Execute project plans, align scope, timelines, and resources for successful delivery.
• Take ownership of the planning and optimization of evacuation infrastructure, including (shared) substations, transmission lines, and grid interconnection to ensure seamless energy distribution.
• Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) during the project, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and accountability.
• Oversee project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide weekly reports to the business and stakeholders on key project challenges, risks, and progress.
• Manage budgets, implement effective tracking and reporting, and support cost control activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field (Master’s preferred). PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Proven experience managing utility-scale photovoltaic projects or similar renewable energy projects.

Strong knowledge of solar / PV energy systems, construction processes, and regulations.

Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to evolving project needs.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Business fluency in English and Spanish. Any other European language is advantageous.
