Leon Cycle Business Development Manager - Barcelona

Leon Cycle is an e-bike business established in Germany in 2014, with operations spanning over 10 countries across Europe, North America, and APAC. We offer a diverse range of e-bike models, including mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes, and step-through e-bikes. Our products are sold through our online platform, e-commerce sites, dealers, and retail stores worldwide.

As part of our growth and expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager in Barcelona. The responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing a network of bike dealers and franchise shops within the region for B2B sales through activities such as phone calls and dealer visits.
  2. Maintaining, nurturing, and servicing existing and new dealers, handling pre-sales and after-sales matters.
  3. Managing the full P&L of offline sales activities within the region and city.
  4. Collaborating with the Barcelona headquarters to execute offline retail marketing campaigns, and attending tradeshows and cycle fairs in the region.
  5. Communicating operational matters, sales forecasts, and activities with the Barcelona HQ.
The ideal candidate should exhibit:
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in dealer network business development and B2B sales, preferably in sporting goods, consumer goods, or bikes/e-bikes industry, with a preference for candidates with e-bikes and electric mobility experience.
  • Experience in building and managing a business sales network and retail operations.
  • Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently with a focus on sales results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing dealer networks.
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience is highly regarded.
