Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role : We seek an innovative, creative, and passionate Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team. This person will coordinate the SmartBuyGlasses social media channels through content creation, brand storytelling, and community management.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating engaging social content, a strong understanding of established and emerging social media platforms and trends, and the ability to drive impact through strategic social initiatives.

This role also involves coordinating influencer partnerships, briefing UGC creators on impactful Meta ad creatives, overseeing UGC workflows, sourcing customer-generated content, and driving influencers' affiliate revenue for our e-commerce.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement the Organic Social Media Marketing Strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Create and coordinate social programs with a cohesive brand voice to grow community engagement and strengthen the brand’s presence.
  • Coordinate content creation, including static posts, infographics, videos, and copy, collaborating with internal teams and UGC creators.
  • Oversee daily social media management, including scheduling, community engagement, and responding to messages.
  • Maintain content calendars across platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Brief UGC creators to produce impactful Meta ad creatives and coordinate the UGC content creation process.
  • Source UGC from customers by identifying opportunities to turn satisfied customers into brand advocates through social media campaigns, contests, or reviews.
  • Create and execute influencer campaigns, negotiate partnerships, brief influencers, and oversee content delivery to align with business goals and budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with influencers to ensure long-term collaboration and brand alignment.
  • Coordinate influencers' affiliate programs and influencer deal-making to drive e-commerce sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and report insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing and influencer marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of influencer marketing and current rates.
  • Proven ability to coordinate end-to-end influencer and UGC campaigns.
  • Proven track record & results in previous positions.
  • Solid understanding of social media and content performance metrics.
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.
  • Open-minded to creative strategies and new ideas with a focus on proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborative but able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Storyteller by nature.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior consumer social media and influencer marketing experience growing and managing social brand channels of significant scale, preferably in the luxury, fashion or beauty industries.
  • Bachelor's degree related to Digital Marketing.
  • Experience coordinating paid social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) campaigns at scale.
  • An impressive track record of growing audiences and delivering on social metrics.
  • Previous experience working within a global e-commerce organization.
