Our client is a fast-growing, international food industry company, specializing in Italian food and wines. They are looking for someone to join their Administrative team in their office in Sant Just Desvern and become part of the family.

You would be a great fit if you are proactive, a team player and have a special interest for food and wine!

Tasks

  • Registering, archiving, and processing invoices while ensuring proper expense classification and accounting entry
  • Reviewing consistency between product purchases, supplier payments, and invoices, flagging any discrepancies
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations, verifying financial transactions, and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing card transactions for assigned branches, as well as processing supplier payments
  • Handling accounting and administrative issues, ensuring accurate expense and revenue provisions, and keeping accounts updated
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, monitoring regulatory compliance, assisting in audits, and preparing financial reports when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or related fields
  • At least two years of previous experience in an accounting department
  • Knowledge of Spanish GAAP
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills
  • Good communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Flexible, hands-on and oriented towards continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and goal oriented
  • Native / Full professional level of Spanish
  • Full professional level of English
  • Italian is a plus!
