About our partner

On behalf of our partner C&A, a multinational retail clothing brand with stores across Europe, we are seeking the best talent to join rindus. They are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. You will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga, Spain, or remotely.

What you'll be doing

After an intensive selection process for a planning software, Anaplan was chosen for financial planning. Following a successful MVP, Anaplan is now being rolled out further for all planning scenarios in finance and business navigation. This project involves collaboration with Anaplan and an external service provider, with internal capabilities being developed to maintain and further develop the software independently later. The current team includes an Anaplan Model Builder, a Product Manager, and an Integration Specialist. We are looking for a Senior Anaplan Consultant to complete this team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a development lead, working closely with our Business Analyst / Product Manager and stakeholders.
2. Bring deep Anaplan expertise to the team, train, and enable new resources.
3. Support the implementation project in collaboration with the external partner.
4. Define Anaplan solution designs, best practices, scope, and effort estimates for new models; review federated models.
5. Own configuration and maintenance of models and Data Hub, manage data dictionary, and support defect resolution.
6. Create and manage data models, calculations, and business logic.
7. Develop and optimize planning processes and scenarios with the Business Navigation team.
8. Integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
9. Test and validate models to meet business requirements and performance standards.

Key Relationships:

• Internal relationships primarily with IT colleagues and business teams, as well as external service providers and Anaplan contacts.

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience as an Anaplan Model Builder or Consultant, preferably in finance within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of financial planning.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good grasp of business processes and data flow.
• Ability to understand complex business problems and design effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, open to agile methodologies, and proactive in work.
• Degree in informatics, economics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Anaplan.
• Experience with project work and project management support.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
