About the Role

At Factorial, we're seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead our IT team and address the challenges they face. You will be responsible for ensuring our internal IT infrastructure is stable, secure, scalable, and compliant with business and regulatory standards. You will manage two core teams : IT Support and Sysadmins , providing top-tier IT services to over 1100 employees worldwide, supporting both remote and office-based staff.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to automate processes and equip teams with effective tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the IT team, including Sysadmins and IT Support.
  • Oversee identity and access management across internal platforms using IDPs.
  • Manage device security with MDM solutions like Jamf and Google MDM.
  • Maintain security certifications through access control and inventory management.
  • Analyze support metrics from Jira Service Management.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for IT equipment and access.
  • Manage office networks and global connectivity.
  • Oversee vendor relations, contract negotiations, and procurement.
  • Maintain internal access controls and software audit trails.
  • Lead platform migrations and strategic technology decisions.
  • Work with finance and HR to automate and develop internal tools.
  • Perform management duties including performance reviews, hiring, and budgeting.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have :

  • Extensive experience managing IT departments and leading technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IDPs, device management, and zero trust models.
  • Understanding of compliance standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Experience managing IT operations at scale in distributed environments.
  • Proven skills in vendor negotiations and contract management.
  • Ability to bridge IT with other departments and automate processes.
  • Management experience including performance reviews and team development.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fast-paced SaaS or hypergrowth environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
  • Experience implementing access governance from scratch.
  • Supporting complex, multi-office global networks.
  • Passion for proactive, service-oriented IT culture.
