We are seeking a Compliance Legal Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Europe team. The role involves:

1. Assessing financial, operational, and legal risks; developing plans to manage potential issues; advising on prevention, detection, and response strategies.
2. Providing regular reports on the effectiveness of compliance measures across our European and African divisions.
3. Updating and maintaining the compliance risk map.
4. Developing, implementing, and managing the organization's compliance program and the Ethics and Compliance Committee's agenda.
5. Managing whistleblowing channels and supporting investigations related to potential non-compliance, in collaboration with Internal Control.
6. Leading compliance projects and managing or participating in offices on Competition Law and Data Protection.
7. Ensuring adherence to policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards in both business divisions.
8. Designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to promote compliance awareness and culture.
9. Collaborating with the Head Office Compliance Manager.
10. Reviewing data processing agreements, drafting data protection clauses, and conducting balancing tests and data retention assessments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law with specific compliance certification or qualification.
• Fluent in English; fluency in French is highly valuable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within FMCG or the food industry; background in commercial and corporate law is essential. Experience with Data Protection and Privacy is highly advantageous.
