With an international and growing BDR team, you will lead the Business Development function, driving the team to deliver highly qualified sales opportunities. You will oversee the treatment and qualification of leads from inbound marketing efforts, while also designing and managing effective outbound strategies to generate pipeline growth. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams, you will ensure alignment and optimization of messaging, tools, and strategies. Additionally, you will focus on team growth, performance management, and continually improving processes to maximize efficiency and output.

Your responsibilities :

  • Opportunity Management & Outbound Engagement
  • Lead & Opportunity Process : Collaborate with Marketing and RevOps to optimize lead capture and ensure efficient communication with ideal customer profiles.
  • Content & Sequence Creation : Leverage sales engagement platforms to create automated, trackable sequences, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Marketing and Enablement for consistent messaging.
  • Dynamic Sales Scripts : Develop and iterate on adaptable scripts based on real-time insights and feedback from the sales team.
  • Performance Monitoring : Implement dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of sales sequences and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Feedback Loops : Facilitate ongoing collaboration between Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to share insights and improve customer engagement.
  • Team Growth, Recruitment & Development
  • Recruitment & Training : Maintain a structured recruitment process with consistent evaluation criteria. Provide continuous coaching and development for team members, ensuring clear progression paths.
  • Employer Branding : Collaborate with HR and Marketing to showcase career growth opportunities and company culture to attract top talent.
  • Performance Reviews & Reporting
  • Data-Driven Reviews : Use KPI dashboards for regular performance evaluations, offering personalized coaching and feedback.
  • Reporting & Forecasting : Maintain a standardized reporting framework to track performance, identify trends, and forecast future sales potential.
  • Tools & Best Practices
  • Automation & Optimization : Utilize tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn for lead management and outreach automation. Continuously iterate on outbound strategies based on performance metrics and ensure cross-departmental alignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years building and scaling a team of SDRs BDRs in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.
  • You know what it takes to be successful as a Business Developer as you’ve been there.
  • Prospecting proficiency, you have an innate understanding of what it takes to reach out and trigger ideal customer profiles. Experience creating and improving processes and optimizing tools.
  • Observant & analytical - you are able to identify and diagnose information (both behaviors and data) and draw conclusions that lead to continuous improvement.
  • You can present outcomes and propose structural improvements in a structured and meaningful way.
  • Influential leader and coach - you attract, hire, engage, train, coach and motivate individual contributors to build out their sales career and succeed in reaching targets and milestones.
  • Strategic - relying on observations and data, you are able to design and implement plans that will achieve long-term success.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ZoomInfo, Lusha, Hubspot, LinkedIn Navigator, and Outreach would be great too!
  • Language : English – French or another European language may be a plus.
