We are searching for a friendly and professional cashier to join our quick-service restaurant staff. As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, answer customer questions, and take food and beverage orders. We need someone who can deliver outstanding customer service in a busy and high-volume food service environment.

Additional responsibilities include cleaning public spaces, packaging orders, and tallying registers at the end of the shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to be flexible and take on a variety of tasks. If this describes you, please apply now!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions about menu and ordering
• Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database, and relay orders to the kitchen staff
• Make sure that all orders are quickly delivered to the customers
• Relay charges to customer, take payments and give back the appropriate change if necessary
• Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces

Qualifications

• Experience handling money and payments in a cashier role preferred
• Strong cash register and point of sale system experience are desired
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
• Basic math skills are needed to accurately take payments and count change
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential

Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
