Job Description

This is a salaried, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

This position supervises electricians and contract electrician employees to ensure a reliable and safe electrical system for the facility. Reports to Maintenance Superintendent, but also collaborates with department production superintendents and supervisors to plan and perform electrical tasks, ensuring efficient operations. The role involves applying electrical reliability practices to minimize maintenance costs and prevent equipment outages. The supervisor will manage the electrical team, coaching employees to reach their potential through effective, consistent, and fair feedback.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper execution of scheduled electrical work as planned by the Maintenance Planner
  • Supervise daily activities of electrical staff
  • Ensure all PPE and electrical safety rules are followed during work
  • Work with production to prioritize repair work and monitor equipment procedures to meet company needs
  • Coach employees on job performance, safety, attendance, and related criteria
  • Use Maximo and other systems to maintain electrical records and reports
  • Monitor work quality, safety practices, and GMP adherence against standards
  • Support food safety, quality, and legal compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance/troubleshooting
  • Leadership/supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Rockwell PLCs is a plus
  • Ability to set expectations for safety, reliability, quality, and productivity
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Proactive in safety, conflict resolution, and reliability management
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Salary range: $79,200 - $130,800, with potential bonuses. Benefits include health, dental, vision, wellness programs, 401(k), stock purchase, insurance, paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, and training resources.
