Senior 2D Animator
Push Gaming is a dynamic and innovative game development studio specializing in top-quality, mobile-optimized online casino games. With a passion for gaming and a commitment to pushing boundaries, we aim to deliver exceptional experiences worldwide.

We are seeking a talented Senior 2D Animator to bring our next-generation slot games to life. You will craft engaging animations that boost visual appeal, excitement, and immersion. Collaborating with our art and development teams, you will create fluid, high-quality character and effects animations aligned with our unique game styles and themes.

Location: Remote/hybrid in UK, Poland, or Spain.

Salary: Dependent on experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create high-quality storyboards and animations in Spine across all game areas, including characters, backgrounds, symbols, and VFX.
• Collaborate with Art Leads, Game Designers, and Developers to define goals and implement animations.
• Incorporate feedback from art/animation leads and directors to meet project expectations.
• Support developers during game development.
• Own your professional growth and learning.
• Produce concepts and mockups for decision-making.
• Optimize assets for smooth game performance.
• Design resource-efficient animations suitable for mobile devices.
• Communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
• Push animation quality and believability in video games.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in the slot industry.
• Understanding of slot game mechanics.
• Expertise in skeletal animation in Spine 2D.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
• Knowledge of animation pipeline integration.
• A diverse showreel demonstrating character animation, effects, and storytelling.
• Strong grasp of animation principles such as key poses, squash and stretch, anticipation, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within an art team.
• Capability to create appealing animations consistent with existing styles and guidelines.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.

• Experience mentoring other animators.
• Animation experience in slot or mobile games.
• Confidence in decision-making and self-challenge.
• Problem-solving skills to support game development as it evolves.
