What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience working closely with clients in the financial sector.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and designing data-driven solutions.
2. Leading workshops to prototype solutions and collaborating across global teams to implement them.
3. Developing self-service and corporate BI solutions, including data sourcing and ETL processes.
4. Streamlining reporting practices and training report designers and consumers.
5. Acting as a Power BI evangelist, staying updated on technology trends, and contributing to governance within the Power Platform.
6. Assessing adoption and satisfaction, collaborating with product teams, and promoting change management.

What do we expect from you?

Highly skilled in data analysis, modeling, and ETL design with over 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Proven expertise in performance tuning, handling large data volumes, and enterprise big data architectures. Extensive experience with reporting and analytics solutions such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, SSAS, and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio. Good understanding of security models and fluent in English (C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience in building reporting governance frameworks and driving adoption.
• Experience with SAFe practices.
• Proficiency in consuming data via APIs, Snowflake, various databases, and file formats.
• Understanding of Data Quality practices.
