A leading company in the sports industry is seeking a Legal Counsel to ensure compliance with global laws and manage IP matters. This fully remote role requires a qualified lawyer with significant experience in tech or e-commerce, who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses strong communication skills.

Formación

  • 6+ years PQE as a qualified lawyer, ideally with tech or e-commerce experience.
  • Deep expertise in commercial, consumer protection, and data privacy law.

They’re on the lookout for Legal Counsel to join their team!

Role : Legal Counsel

Location : Must be in Spain - BUT Fully Remote Role!

What you will be doing :

  • Ensure compliance with global consumer and privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), and maintain up-to-date consumer-facing terms, policies, and data protection practices.
  • Manage IP matters including trademarks and copyrights, while supporting brand strategy and related agreements.
  • Oversee platform compliance, seller onboarding, and transparency obligations; support corporate structuring and governance documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide risk-aware legal guidance, manage pre-litigation issues, and monitor regulatory developments in digital commerce.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 6 years+ PQE as a qualified lawyer, ideally with top-tier firm and in-house tech or e-commerce experience.
  • Deep expertise in commercial, consumer protection, and data privacy law, with a strong grasp of marketplace, payment, loyalty, and subscription regulations.
  • Business-minded, proactive, and adaptable—thrives in fast-paced, remote environments with fluent English communication skills.
